Werkstudent:in Simulation & Application Engineering (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential engineering software client seeking a working student to support their simulation and application engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to real client projects and gain hands-on experience with modern CAE processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting simulation projects in plastic injection molding, including conducting internal simulations, assisting with client projects, performing benchmark simulations, and analyzing and documenting simulation results
• Assisting with the creation and preparation of technical content for learning materials, including online academy content, training documentation, tutorials, self-learning materials, and technical presentations
• Supporting technical customer service by helping with support cases, tracking customer inquiries, and preparing technical information and solution approaches
• Working closely with experienced simulation specialists on projects with direct client impact

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a currently enrolled student in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.

Required qualifications:

• Technical understanding and interest in simulation and injection molding technology
• Structured, independent, and reliable working style
• Good German and English language skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for technical topics

Preferred qualifications:

• Initial experience with CAD or simulation software
• Familiarity with AI tools or coding agents (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot)
