The Opportunity

As a Bread Baker in our Chicago bakery, you'll take ownership of daily bread production, working in our on-site kitchen to deliver fresh, high-quality breads to guests and retail customers. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and shape dough for various bread types using traditional and modern baking techniques
• Monitor fermentation and proofing times to achieve optimal flavor development and texture
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely while maintaining strict hygiene standards
• Bake breads to proper color and crumb specifications, managing oven temperatures and timing
• Ensure consistent quality standards across all bread production during your shift
• Maintain a clean, organized work station and support inventory management
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to support bakery and pastry operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bread baker or in a comparable production baking environment
