Role Overview
As a Gelato Maker at Eataly Yorkville, you'll be the artisan behind our gelato counter, creating fresh batches daily while maintaining the high Italian standards our customers expect. This full-time position offers hands-on work in gelato production, customer interaction, and a supportive team environment dedicated to quality and authenticity.
Core Duties
- Prepare gelato batches following established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain proper temperature, texture, and consistency of gelato throughout service
- Portion and serve gelato to customers with attention to presentation
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management
- Clean and maintain all gelato equipment and production areas to ensure food safety compliance
- Follow food handling and safety protocols consistently
- Contribute to a welcoming counter environment and positive customer experience
