About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential global technology organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their distributed development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale software products that serve users worldwide, with team members across multiple international locations.
Our client operates a sophisticated technology platform that has been evolving for over a decade, delivering workflow solutions and scalable interfaces that power their core services. You'll contribute to systems that handle complex business processes while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.
Responsibilities
- Engage in all phases of application development with emphasis on coding, debugging, and security standards throughout the software lifecycle
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code and APIs supporting both web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, designers, and fellow developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work alongside front-end developers to integrate user-facing components with server-side logic
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues across the application stack
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and mitigate potential threats
- Develop automated tests and collaborate with automation engineers to support regression testing
- Provide direct technical support to users when needed
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance backend infrastructure
- Document application support processes and operational procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support their professional development
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of software development experience focused on building scalable and reliable systems
- Extensive expertise in.NET C#, LINQ, MS SQL, Entity Framework, and related technologies
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean code practices
- Experience with web service protocols including REST and API design for extensibility and integration
- Proven ability debugging complex applications
- Experience with Agile development and project management methodologies
- Database development skills in SQL Server or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Docker
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments
- Experience with Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ, and Quartz is advantageous
