Product Manager – Wealth Management

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Product Manager – Wealth Management based in London. Our client is an established software provider serving the financial services sector across multiple continents.

This is a hands-on product management role with significant client-facing responsibilities. You'll work directly with wealth management clients and prospects, representing digital platform solutions in workshops, demonstrations, and strategic discussions with private banks and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Strategy

• Collaborate with product leadership to define and maintain the product roadmap for digital wealth management platforms and applications
• Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, working closely with development and UI design teams
• Translate roadmap initiatives into clear epics, features, and user stories
• Support backlog prioritization aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs
• Gather, analyze, and validate requirements from roadmap initiatives and client requests

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted product advisor for clients, supporting implementation and adoption
• Build relationships with clients and prospects to understand their business challenges, market trends, and digital needs
• Lead product demonstrations, discovery workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions
• Support pre-sales activities and help translate business needs into scalable product solutions
• Understand client operating models, regulatory constraints, and digital service expectations

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Define and enforce standards for requirement gathering and documentation
• Review and validate backlog items and deliverables
• Mentor and guide Business Analysts and Product Owners
• Coordinate cross-team communication to maintain alignment across product lines

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 3 years as a Product Manager in digital solutions, WealthTech, or banking environments
• Direct exposure to digital platforms serving private banks, wealth managers, or investment firms (web and mobile)
• Strong background in requirements gathering, backlog management, and Agile methodologies
• Experience managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience and time-to-market
• Proven ability with strategic prioritization and alignment across teams and organizational levels
• Experience coordinating or mentoring teams of analysts or consultants
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in client-facing contexts
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Familiarity with UX principles and design thinking approaches
• Strong team player with availability to travel occasionally
• Flexibility to work with distributed international teams across time zones

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Tealium, Power BI)
• Experience coordinating multi-country product initiatives or Agile squads
