About This Opportunity
We are representing a rapidly growing sustainable mobility organization based in Cologne that is revolutionizing urban transportation. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join a confidential e-mobility client working on next-generation cargo e-bikes.
This role offers genuine product ownership in a small, agile team with direct decision-making authority. You'll guide products from initial concept through market launch, bridging technical development with market needs. Our client serves major delivery and logistics customers across DACH and the EU.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete product lifecycle from conception to market launch for cargo e-bikes
- Define product requirements by translating market and customer needs into technical specifications
- Coordinate technical development with engineering, procurement, and supplier teams on components and solutions
- Monitor trends in the bicycle and EPAC/pedelec market to inform product decisions
- Serve as the interface between product development, sales, and service teams
- Support market launch activities including product documentation, training materials, and go-to-market preparation
What We're Looking For
- Product management experience, ideally with two-wheeled vehicles or related mobility products
- Strong knowledge of the bicycle industry, particularly EPAC/pedelec systems
- Technical understanding combined with market awareness
- Proven track record managing products from concept to launch
- Analytical thinking and excellent communication skills
- Hands-on mentality with solution-oriented approach
- Adaptability in a scaling environment where processes are still evolving
- Fluent German and strong English skills required
