Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential edtech organization launching an innovative AI training program for experienced engineers. As an AI & Engineering Coach, you will guide software engineers and technical project managers through their AI upskilling journey.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support and answering questions about AI-assisted software development, modern AI architectures, and system integration (written and verbal)
• Delivering and deepening training content through kick-off sessions, closing events, digital workshops, hackathons, and individual learning support
• Mentoring participants through sandbox exercises, hackathons, and client implementation projects, helping them overcome technical challenges
• Conducting and evaluating final projects, including deployment of MVP solutions, and determining training success
• Creating, preparing, and evolving learning materials covering AI coding copilots, spec-driven development, RAG, MCP, and cloud deployment
• Ensuring quality of existing training programs and providing feedback to the learning team
• Leading individual coaching sessions on debugging, code reviews, build-vs-buy decisions, and test automation
• Supporting new team members during onboarding

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a technical expert with strong didactic skills who can translate complex AI engineering concepts into actionable learning experiences.

Required qualifications:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience as a Software or AI Engineer, with practical experience in AI-assisted software development (coding copilots, LLM APIs, agent architectures, RAG, MCP)
• Proficiency with modern software engineering practices: testing, debugging, CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment
• Experience integrating AI components into legacy systems and AI data management (data chunking, indexing, RAG)
• Understanding of AI governance topics (EU AI Act, data security, Responsible AI)
• Didactic experience teaching technical content to experienced software engineers
• Understanding of adult education and online learning concepts
• Strong customer and service orientation, empathy, clear communication, and constructive feedback culture
• Hands-on mentality, team spirit, resilience, and flexibility
• Excellent German and English skills (minimum C1 level)
