Senior Product Manager – Billing

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential physical security technology organization in their search for a Senior Product Manager - Billing. Our client operates a modern access control platform serving organizations worldwide, and this role will own the billing infrastructure that powers monetization across their unified product suite.

This is a high-impact position where you'll take full ownership of licensing, subscription management, and ERP integrations. You'll work within an empowered product team that operates with agility and autonomy, partnering directly with engineering, finance, and operations to build systems that scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete billing platform roadmap, including licensing models, subscription management, and ERP system integrations
• Run continuous discovery through customer interviews, stakeholder conversations, and workflow observations to identify billing friction points and opportunities
• Partner with engineering and design teams to move from problem definition through solution delivery, writing clear product specifications and making informed scope trade-offs
• Define success metrics, instrument product features for measurement, and use data to validate hypotheses and demonstrate business impact
• Drive a unified billing experience across multiple product lines, eliminating customer friction and internal reconciliation complexity
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales Operations, ERP teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure coordinated launches and incorporate field feedback into the roadmap
• Stay current on SaaS monetization models, billing platform trends, and integration patterns to inform pricing and packaging strategies

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software
• Demonstrated ability to conduct customer discovery and translate findings into actionable product decisions
• Experience working directly with engineering teams and engaging in technical architecture discussions
• Track record of defining product metrics and using data to drive prioritization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bias toward iterative shipping and learning over perfection
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely (visa sponsorship not available)

Strongly preferred:

• Experience with billing systems, subscription management platforms, or ERP integrations (NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce CPQ)
• Ability to rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted development tools
• Background in billing automation, self-serve subscription workflows, or automated reconciliation
• Understanding of revenue operations, invoicing processes, and revenue recognition in SaaS businesses
• Experience migrating from legacy billing systems to modern platforms
• Work with multi-sided ecosystems serving partners, installers, integrators, and end-users
• Technical background (CS, engineering) enabling deep engagement on system design and APIs
