About the Role

As an MT/MLS II - Flow Cytometry professional at BJC HealthCare, you'll operate at the front lines of cellular analysis, performing sophisticated immunophenotyping and flow cytometry testing for hematologic malignancies, immune disorders, and transplant monitoring. Your technical expertise and precision contribute directly to clinician decision-making and patient care pathways throughout our healthcare system.

What You'll Do

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain flow cytometry instrumentation to ensure accurate, reproducible results
• Prepare, stain, and analyze patient specimens according to established laboratory protocols and clinical requirements
• Perform quality control procedures and troubleshoot instrument performance issues
• Document testing procedures and results with meticulous attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with pathologists, hematologists, and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning
• Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and adhere to CLIA and OSHA standards

What We're Looking For

• Current MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification, or equivalent state licensure
• Demonstrated experience with flow cytometry instrumentation and data interpretation
• Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
• Professional communication skills and ability to function effectively within a collaborative team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic laboratory setting
