About the Role
As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at BJC HealthCare, you'll deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across all acuity levels during some of their most urgent moments. This full-time position offers ongoing employment as a staff nurse, providing stability and growth within one of the region's premier health systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform initial patient assessments and triage to prioritize care needs in a high-volume emergency setting
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and clinical changes with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, timely care
- Assist with emergency procedures, diagnostic testing, and interventions while maintaining strict safety and infection control protocols
- Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education during stressful situations
- Maintain thorough, accurate electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Respond adaptively to changing patient conditions and evolving care priorities
What We're Looking For
- Current, active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license
