About the Role

BJC HealthCare is recruiting a Clinical Nurse to join our intensive care team working nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You'll work 3–4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule in a dynamic, high-acuity environment where your clinical expertise directly impacts patient outcomes. What You'll Do

• Provide direct, hands-on care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
• Monitor hemodynamic status, respiratory function, and neurological changes; respond rapidly to clinical deterioration
• Administer medications, infusions, and therapeutic treatments within established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans
• Maintain precise, real-time documentation of patient assessments and clinical decisions
• Educate patients and families about care, treatment goals, and recovery pathways
• Operate and troubleshoot intensive care equipment and monitoring systems

What We're Looking For

• Current Missouri RN license
• Prior ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong assessment skills and sound clinical judgment in complex situations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
