Join LifeStance Health as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in Havre De Grace, Maryland. We're seeking a full-time clinical therapist to deliver evidence-based couples and family counseling to individuals and families in our community who are ready to strengthen their relationships and resolve conflict.
About the Role
As an LMFT with LifeStance Health, you'll provide direct clinical services to clients seeking therapy for relationship issues, family dynamics, communication challenges, and life transitions. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and facilitate sessions that help couples and families build healthier patterns and deeper understanding.
What You'll Do
- Conduct intake evaluations and ongoing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions
- Diagnose and treat mental health and relational concerns using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive treatment plans aligned with client goals
- Document clinical progress and maintain comprehensive, compliant client records
- Collaborate with care coordinators, psychiatrists, and other providers to ensure integrated treatment
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and professional development opportunities
- Maintain licensure requirements and stay current with best practices in family therapy
What We're Looking For
- Maryland (or transferable) LMFT license in good standing
- Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or closely related field
- Demonstrated experience in couples and family therapy
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
- Ability to work with diverse populations and complex clinical presentations
