What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medically complex ICU patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, medication management, and respiratory support
- Assess and respond to acute changes in patient condition, escalating concerns and implementing clinical interventions
- Educate patients and families about critical illness, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively across shifts
- Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and continuous quality improvement
