About the Role

As a Special Agent with SLED's Seahawk IOC, you'll serve as a critical member of an elite interagency task force dedicated to major case investigation, intelligence analysis, and coordinated law enforcement response. Your work will directly impact public safety across South Carolina through meticulous investigation, evidence collection, and inter-agency coordination in complex, high-stakes operations.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive criminal investigations and intelligence gathering in collaboration with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners
• Manage case files, evidence documentation, and investigative records with exacting attention to detail and legal compliance
• Perform surveillance, interviews, and field operations as part of coordinated interagency initiatives
• Analyze intelligence and contribute to threat assessment and operational planning
• Coordinate with forensic specialists and other technical units to build evidence
• Maintain professional relationships and information sharing protocols across multiple agencies
• Prepare reports, documentation, and case materials for prosecution and administrative review

What We're Looking For

• Valid law enforcement certification or equivalent credentials meeting SLED standards
• Demonstrated investigative experience and strong understanding of criminal procedure and evidence handling
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment with discretion and professionalism
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound judgment, ethical standards, and commitment to public service
• Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex cases
