About the Role
This temporary travel assignment places you in a healthcare facility where your clinical nutrition expertise is needed. You'll deliver comprehensive nutrition care to patients, develop therapy plans, and collaborate with medical teams—all while experiencing the flexibility and career growth that travel healthcare provides. The position runs 40 hours per week on day shift, beginning July 20, 2026.
What You'll Do
- Assess patient nutrition status and develop individualized medical nutrition therapy plans
- Provide nutrition education and counseling for patients managing acute and chronic conditions
- Coordinate nutrition care with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain comprehensive medical records and clinical documentation per regulatory requirements
- Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions based on clinical outcomes
- Support food service operations and menu planning to meet therapeutic nutrition needs
What We're Looking For
- Active RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) credential through Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Current state licensure or registration as required by Missouri and/or your state
- Minimum one year of clinical dietetics or nutrition care experience
- Proficiency in medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based clinical nutrition practice
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and professional adaptability suited to travel healthcare roles
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within healthcare environments
