About the Role
Crossfoot addresses a critical bottleneck in CPA firm operations: structural accountant shortages and production headcount constraints that limit client intake and growth. As Co-Founder & CEO, you'll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of an AI agent platform designed to automate manual accounting workflows—from close procedures to client management and intake coordination.
What You'll Do
- Set product strategy and vision for the Crossfoot platform, informed by direct conversations with CPA firm operators
- Build and lead the founding team, hiring for technical, product, and go-to-market talent
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy targeting small-to-mid CPA firms and their operational pain points
- Lead fundraising and investor relations to fuel company growth
- Work directly with early customers to refine product-market fit and understand accounting workflows
- Build company culture and operating foundations from inception
What We're Looking For
- Proven success launching and scaling a company, whether in venture-backed startups or scaling environments
- Authentic interest in the CPA and accounting operations market, or a strong track record solving operational bottlenecks in professional services
- Strong product instincts and the ability to translate vision into clarity for both engineering teams and customers
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and building with capital efficiency and rapid iteration
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software is valuable
