About the Role
You'll work alongside interventional radiologists in a dynamic clinical environment, supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. This travel assignment places you in a healthcare setting where your technical expertise and attention to detail directly impact patient safety and procedural outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Prepare procedure rooms, patients, and all necessary equipment prior to interventional cases
- Maintain sterile field integrity and aseptic technique throughout all procedures
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical responses
- Operate and assist with imaging and radiological equipment under physician direction
- Support the interventional radiologist with injections, catheters, and other procedural needs
- Manage supplies, inventory, and accurate procedure documentation
- Communicate pre- and post-procedure care instructions and provide compassionate patient support
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification with interventional radiology credentials
- Demonstrated experience working in an interventional radiology department or similar clinical environment
- Solid grasp of sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety protocols
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical teams
- Strong communication and professional interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and readiness to thrive in a fast-paced medical setting
Assignment Details
- Location: Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (40 hours weekly)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Compensation: $2,747 per week
