About the Role

This 25-week travel assignment places you in a dynamic radiology department where you'll operate advanced magnetic resonance imaging equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a traveling MRI technician, you'll work with patients and clinical teams to perform examinations, ensure equipment safety and accuracy, and contribute to the efficient operation of a busy imaging center.

Position Details

• Compensation: $2,244 per week
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts
• Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (day shift)
• Contract Length: 25 weeks
• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Location: Saint Louis, Saint Louis County

What You'll Do

• Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Maintain precise documentation of patient information and imaging procedures
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with biomedical or technical teams for maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and HIPAA regulations

What We're Looking For

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI or equivalent credential
• Valid state licensure (Missouri preferred; reciprocal licenses considered)
• Minimum 2+ years of MRI technician experience
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
• Professional attitude and commitment to safety and quality
