About the Role
As a travel nuclear medicine technologist in Teaneck, you'll provide essential diagnostic imaging services at a busy healthcare facility. Working days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, you'll bring technical expertise and patient-focused care to every shift during this temporary placement.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients following physician orders and established protocols
- Operate advanced nuclear imaging equipment including SPECT and PET cameras
- Position patients and acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Perform quality control and calibration procedures on imaging equipment
- Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with nuclear medicine physicians to optimize image quality and patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current CNMT certification or immediate eligibility
- Valid New Jersey state licensure as a nuclear medicine technologist
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and handling
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Excellent patient communication and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in temporary healthcare settings
Contract Details
This is a 13-week full-time position beginning July 20, 2026, at 40 hours per week. Triage Staffing LLC handles all credentialing, licensing verification, and travel logistics to support your success in the Teaneck area.
