What This Role Involves

As a Virtual Speech Pathologist (New York State Certified) at Fullmind, you will provide remote speech-language pathology Services focused on assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for individuals with communication needs. Working entirely remotely from the New York, New York, US area, you will conduct virtual sessions that address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication challenges. The role emphasizes evidence-based practices tailored to virtual platforms, collaboration with educational teams, and maintenance of accurate clinical documentation. You will help students build essential speaking and listening skills in a flexible full-time remote setting that prioritizes New York State certification requirements and student-centered outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to identify speech and language disorders using standardized tools adapted for remote delivery
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific communication goals for students in the New York area
• Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions focused on improving articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to ensure consistent support across educational environments
• Track student progress through ongoing data collection, session notes, and periodic reassessments
• Prepare required reports and contribute to individualized education program meetings in compliance with New York State standards
• Maintain secure, organized clinical records while adhering to professional ethical guidelines and telepractice best practices

What We're Looking For

• Current New York State certification as a Speech Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist
• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
• Valid clinical license and Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
• Proven experience providing speech therapy services, ideally with school-age populations
• Comfort delivering services virtually, including familiarity with video platforms and digital therapy materials
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, treatment techniques, and New York educational regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills for remote collaboration
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently while meeting deadlines for documentation and meetings
