About the Role
As co-founder, you'll own the dual mandate of defining our product vision and building the technical foundation of an AI compliance platform. Regulatory and supervisory compliance at U.S. registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, and wealth management fintechs remains largely manual—analysts review communications line by line, flag keywords, and audit trades by hand. Across more than 25,000 firms, this creates massive operational burden and regulatory risk. You'll architect and develop the solution that changes this.
What You'll Do
- Set product strategy and roadmap for the AI compliance platform, informed by direct customer discovery at RIAs and fintech firms
- Lead technical architecture and engineering—building the core platform, selecting technology stack, and establishing coding standards
- Recruit, build, and mentor the engineering team from day one
- Partner with co-founder(s) on company strategy, fundraising, and go-to-market execution
- Drive initial product-market fit and customer success with early adopters in the wealth management space
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to build and ship products end-to-end—you've owned both product and technical decisions
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering capability; ability to code and architect at scale
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams and making technology tradeoff decisions
- Startup or scale-up experience; comfort with ambiguity and ownership mentality
- Ideally: familiarity with fintech, compliance, or regulated industries (helpful but not required)
