About the Role

As an owner operator with Forward Air, you'll run your own trucking business while hauling dry van freight across regional and interstate lanes. What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A CDL–required dry van truck for over-the-road freight hauling
• Manage your own business operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance
• Maintain your vehicle to the highest safety and appearance standards
• Log hours, track expenses, and manage your business records accurately
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
• Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with a clean driving record
• Minimum one year of professional truck driving experience
• Ownership or financing of your own dry van tractor and equipment
• Commitment to vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance
