What You'll Do

• Haul freight via dry van equipment on over-the-road routes throughout the continental United States
• Build a stable income through consistent freight assignments that minimize downtime
• Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes for efficiency and earnings potential
• Maintain your vehicle to all DOT safety and maintenance standards
• Operate with full independence while accessing Forward Air's freight network and support systems
• Manage the business side of owner operator work with the backing of an established carrier

Qualifications

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
• Minimum 1 year of commercial over-the-road driving experience
• Demonstrated experience hauling in dry van configuration
• Owner operator or independent contractor status with appropriate insurance coverage and equipment
• Commitment to maintaining vehicle condition and DOT compliance
• Professional approach to customer service and dispatch communication
