This is a full-time, local Class A driving position handling both milk tanker and dry van freight on dedicated, less-than-truckload (LTL) runs. You'll work daytime hours on a steady regional route averaging roughly 500 to 1,500 miles each week, with weekly pay generally landing between $900 and $1,500. The position is offered as a W2 company driver (solo), and 1099 arrangements are also available for qualifying drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a tanker trailer hauling milk and a dry van on local, dedicated lanes
- Complete day-shift deliveries on an LTL, dedicated freight schedule
- Assist with loading and unloading, which makes up about 10% of the job
- Cover an average of 500 to 1,500 miles weekly across regional routes
- Keep equipment, paperwork, and deliveries compliant and on time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A (CDL-A) driver's license in good standing
- Comfortable operating both tanker and dry van equipment
- Able to perform light load/unload duties as needed
- Willing to work a 6-days-on, 2-days-off rotation; weekends home are not guaranteed
