As a Local CDL-A Tanker Hazmat Driver based in Putney, Dougherty County, you will run local routes hauling tanker loads while maintaining full hazardous materials compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tanker rig on local routes throughout the Putney and Dougherty County area.
- Transport and handle hazardous materials in line with all DOT and hazmat regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Complete accurate trip logs, manifests, and required compliance documentation.
- Load and unload tanker product safely while following proper handling procedures.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to support timely, reliable service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Current Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements, or the combined (X) endorsement.
- Verifiable tanker and/or hazardous materials driving experience.
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass DOT screening requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professional customer service.
- Reliability and the ability to manage local delivery schedules independently.
