Working Student – Invoice Checking (d/f/m)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential logistics technology company in their search for a Working Student to support invoice verification processes. This Hamburg-based role offers hands-on experience in accounts payable operations within an international environment.

You'll join a cross-functional team distributed across multiple European offices, supporting billing accuracy and carrier invoice reconciliation. This position is ideal for a currently enrolled university student seeking practical exposure to financial operations in a fast-paced, digitally enabled workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify carrier invoices across multiple brands and countries
• Process invoice claims and resolve billing discrepancies with carriers
• Validate carrier rate accuracy and ensure correct application in invoice checks
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather information required for invoice verification
• Support posting of carrier invoices as part of the LMS Next invoice checking workflow
• Test process improvements before implementation
• Assist with the rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled university student seeking practical work experience
• Strong numerical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail
• Structured, efficient, and independent working style
• Team-oriented mindset with curiosity and openness to learning
• Good to very good proficiency in both German and English for international team communication
• Prior knowledge of transport or logistics sectors is advantageous but not required
