Senior Video Marketing Manager – Media Planning (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency seeking a Senior Video Marketing Manager – Media Planning to lead strategic and operational planning of TV and digital video campaigns for high-profile client accounts across Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Hamburg.

In this role, you will:

• Campaign Leadership: Direct comprehensive video planning for clients and ensure strategic success of advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
• Budget Management: Take full responsibility for budget planning and video strategy for assigned client accounts, working closely with account teams.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the strategic link between internal teams, external service providers, and market participants, managing complex relationships.
• Media Selection: Leverage your expertise to select optimal channels, broadcasters, and campaign parameters while balancing cost and performance objectives.
• Strategic Placement: Ensure optimal, high-reach placement of advertising content by integrating complex campaign and contract objectives into your planning.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct continuous monitoring and develop strategic recommendations based on detailed campaign reporting and analytics.

What We're Looking For

• Education & Experience: Completed degree, commercial training, or several years of proven experience in media planning.
• Communication Excellence: Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex media strategies convincingly to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative Mindset: Team-oriented approach with confident, consultative presence when engaging with various stakeholders.
• Analytical Strength: Excellent analytical capabilities, strong numerical aptitude, and professional-level MS Office skills (especially Excel).
• Media Passion: Deep enthusiasm for TV and digital video with awareness of current trends in these channels.
• Language Skills: Fluent German required; English proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Professional Traits: Consultative, communicative, and able to work independently with strong ownership of outcomes.
