We are representing a confidential technology consultancy that serves enterprise clients across Europe. Our talent team is seeking a Senior GenAI Solution Engineer to join their implementation-focused practice. This role is based in Hamburg, München, or Düsseldorf, with remote options available.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI solutions across the full development lifecycle, from rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept through to deployment in scalable production environments
• Build robust backend services in Python that integrate state-of-the-art LLMs and perform reliably under production load
• Design and implement intelligent agent systems that automate real-world workflows through tool calling and memory management
• Integrate AI agents into the software development lifecycle, including AI-assisted coding, code reviews, automated testing, and intelligent documentation
• Take ownership of code quality by applying clean architecture principles, implementing automated testing, and establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Implement frameworks to measure GenAI solution performance (accuracy, latency, cost) and ensure continuous optimization
• Work directly with client stakeholders, facilitating workshops and translating complex AI concepts into tangible business impact
• Assess technical feasibility and advise on transforming innovative ideas into sustainable, production-ready products

What We're Looking For

• Production-ready Python expertise: Strong skills in API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), testing (unit and integration), Git, and CI/CD—well beyond notebook-based scripting
• Architectural knowledge: Ability to apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, async/concurrency patterns, and ORMs (SQLAlchemy) for clean database interactions
• Hands-on LLM experience: Proficient with multimodal LLM APIs from leading providers and cloud platforms
• Advanced GenAI engineering: Strong command of prompt engineering, structured outputs (JSON), and tool/function calling
• RAG expertise: End-to-end experience building pipelines from embeddings and vector databases (pgvector) to advanced retrieval, re-ranking, and evaluation
• Agent development: Experience designing and orchestrating autonomous systems with memory management and guardrails
• Consulting skills: Proven ability to facilitate workshops, present results, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
• Languages: Fluent German (C1) and professional English proficiency required
• Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or comparable field (Bachelor's or higher)
• Willingness to travel: Regular on-site work at client premises as needed
