Working Student Application Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the video analytics sector, seeking a Working Student Application Software Engineer to join their team in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for a current student to gain hands-on experience bridging customer needs with technical implementation in a fast-growing technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Support customer success initiatives by engaging with clients to understand their technical requirements and use cases
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate customer feedback into actionable product requirements
• Provide hands-on technical support during product demonstrations, workshops, and customer onboarding sessions
• Partner with sales and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions
• Investigate new feature opportunities based on user data and customer feedback
• Assist in technical documentation and communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field (minimum 2 semesters remaining)
• Practical experience with SQL, Python, and working with APIs/SDKs (through projects, internships, or coursework)
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused, problem-solving mindset
• Fluency in both English and German (C1 level minimum required)
• Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with flexibility during breaks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Docker or Linux environments
• Understanding of Computer Vision or AI applications
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor)
• Strong foundation in Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Previous experience in startup or fast-paced technology environments
