Working Student AI Support & Operations

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI consulting organization in the DACH region for a Working Student position in AI Support & Operations based in Frankfurt am Main. Our client works with enterprise organizations across multiple industries to implement and scale AI solutions.

This role offers hands-on experience supporting LLM and AI applications in live client environments. You'll be the first point of contact for technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and gain direct exposure to production AI systems while studying.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for LLM and AI applications deployed in client projects
• Handle support requests at L1 and L2 levels, responding to user questions in both German and English
• Analyze technical issues systematically, identify root causes, and resolve independently where possible
• Escalate complex cases to appropriate technical experts with clear documentation
• Work primarily with enterprise AI platforms, developing deep understanding of LLM functionalities
• Document recurring questions and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base
• Contribute insights from daily support work to improve processes, documentation, and automated support tools
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand how modern AI solutions operate in production
• Initially support a specific client project with opportunity to expand to additional AI support engagements

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science & AI, Business Administration, Economics, or comparable program
• Strong technical understanding with hands-on experience using digital applications, technical tools, or support processes
• Demonstrated interest in LLMs and modern AI applications with practical experience using relevant tools
• Systematic approach to technical problem-solving with ability to narrow down potential causes
• Strong hands-on mentality and pragmatic approach—you solve problems rather than pass them along
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different types of users
• Reliable, thorough, and structured work style with ability to manage multiple support requests simultaneously
• Very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms is a plus but not required
