About This Position

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in wet chemistry analysis within a dynamic laboratory environment. You'll work a Wednesday-through-Saturday schedule as part of our full-time team at our Rensselaer facility, contributing to accurate, timely testing results that serve our clients across multiple industries. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals ready to develop technical laboratory skills under supervision.

What You'll Do

• Prepare samples and solutions for chemical analysis following established protocols
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment for quantitative and qualitative testing
• Conduct wet chemistry analyses including titration, precipitation, and spectrophotometry
• Record analytical results accurately and maintain detailed laboratory notebooks
• Perform routine quality control checks on samples and reagents
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments as needed
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with laboratory standards
• Assist senior analysts with method validation and troubleshooting

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; chemistry or laboratory science background preferred
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or related field (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
• Willingness to learn wet chemistry procedures and laboratory best practices
