QC Biochemist Group Leader

Eurofins is hiring a QC Biochemist Group Leader to lead quality control operations at our Indianapolis, IN laboratory facility. In this full-time role, you'll direct a team of biochemists, oversee analytical testing, and ensure regulatory compliance in support of our Testing & Laboratory division's quality assurance mission.

About This Position

As QC Biochemist Group Leader, you'll manage laboratory operations focused on biochemical quality control and testing. You'll lead your team, ensure accurate and reliable test results, and maintain the highest standards of scientific rigor and safety across our Indianapolis-based laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of QC biochemists and laboratory technicians
• Oversee quality control testing and biochemical analysis procedures
• Develop, validate, and maintain analytical methods and laboratory protocols
• Ensure all testing meets regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Review test results, manage laboratory documentation, and oversee reporting
• Train and mentor team members on procedures, safety, and best practices
• Collaborate across departments to support product quality and regulatory compliance
• Monitor laboratory equipment performance, maintenance, and calibration

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or related scientific field
• Proven hands-on experience in quality control laboratory work and biochemical analysis
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing laboratory teams or technical staff
• Strong knowledge of analytical methods, quality assurance, and laboratory operations
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance frameworks
• Excellent technical communication and scientific documentation skills
• Ability to balance independent problem-solving with collaborative teamwork
