About the Role

As a Sandwich Artist at Pilot Company in Dalton, GA, you'll work in a fast-paced retail environment within our travel center, delivering excellent customer service while preparing fresh sandwiches to order. This part-time position is ideal for reliable, energetic team members who thrive in a dynamic setting and enjoy direct interaction with customers from all walks of life.

Core Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality with every order
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently during busy service periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station and prep areas
• Stock ingredients, supplies, and maintain inventory levels throughout your shift
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service and address customer requests or concerns
• Follow food handling and safety procedures to meet health and company standards
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively with team members to support operations and peak service times

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work flexible part-time hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer interactions
• Basic math skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems
• Food service or retail experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to follow food safety guidelines and company procedures
• Age 16 or older, as required by local labor laws
