Werkstudent:in Sales & Operations (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a working student for their sales and operations team in Köln. In this role, you will take on responsibility from day one through direct customer contact and internal process coordination:

• Conduct initial lead qualification by managing first contact with potential customers, pre-qualifying inquiries, and filtering relevant leads for the sales team
• Coordinate and schedule customer appointments for digital consultations or on-site assessments, independently managing any necessary rescheduling
• Proactively gather missing documentation and technical photos (meter boxes, roofs, heating systems) from customers with persistence and professionalism
• Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to operations by verifying all customer information and technical details are complete before passing to installation teams

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks someone who thinks independently and takes initiative, not just completes tasks. Key requirements include:

• Strong communication skills with enthusiasm for phone-based customer interaction; articulate, quick-thinking, and able to strike the right tone
• Fast learner who can quickly understand problems and identify exactly what information operations teams need for successful installations
• Goal-oriented approach with structured work habits and proactive follow-up until all documentation is complete
• Currently enrolled university student (field of study is secondary to your motivation and attitude)
• Bonus: passion for climate action and sustainability; prior knowledge of heat pumps, solar systems, or energy management is helpful but not required
