Manager Digital & AI Strategy – Pharma & Healthcare (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital strategy consultancy serving pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations across Europe. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Manager to lead high-impact digital and AI strategy engagements for life sciences clients. This is a senior consulting role based in München, offering the opportunity to advise C-level executives on commercial transformation, AI-enabled business models, and digital roadmaps that drive measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategy and transformation projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, from initial problem definition through implementation and measurable impact delivery
• Manage complex engagements across Go-to-Market transformation, commercial model redesign, AI strategy development, and digital transformation initiatives
• Advise senior executives on growth strategy, commercial transformation, customer strategy, operating models, and AI-enabled business transformation
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear management decisions, prioritized action plans, and practical implementation roadmaps
• Lead transformation workstreams and larger multi-workstream programs, ensuring governance, milestone tracking, stakeholder alignment, and delivery against objectives
• Design and facilitate executive workshops, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership
• Build and manage high-performing project teams, provide coaching and mentorship, and support professional development of team members
• Drive business development through opportunity identification, client proposition development, pitch leadership, and cultivation of long-term senior client relationships

What We're Looking For

• Excellent university degree in business administration, economics, strategy, computer science, or related field; master's degree or MBA is a strong plus
• 5+ years of relevant experience in top-tier strategy or management consulting, digital strategy, transformation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
• Proven track record developing strategies and leading transformation execution, ideally including Go-to-Market or commercial model transformation
• Experience in pharma, healthcare, or life sciences is highly preferred; background in other regulated industries is also valuable
• Demonstrated experience advising senior executives and managing complex transformation programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Strong expertise in one or more of: AI strategy, digital business models, customer transformation, Commercial Excellence, or operating model transformation
• Combination of strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with commercial judgment and pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset
• Confident communication skills, clear presentation abilities, and effective stakeholder management capabilities
• Entrepreneurial mindset, commercial orientation, and motivation to create measurable impact
• Fluency in both German and English required; additional languages are a plus
