About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software company in Hamburg that is seeking an apprentice for a dual vocational training programme (Ausbildung) as an IT Systems Integration Specialist. Our client develops solutions for the logistics sector and offers a modern, hands-on learning environment where you'll gain experience across the full IT landscape.

This is a full-time apprenticeship position based in Hamburg, following the German dual education system combining practical workplace training with vocational school.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems within a modern Microsoft environment
• Provide first and second-level technical support to users via phone and remote access tools
• Work with databases, mail servers, and enterprise applications
• Configure industry-specific software solutions and manage system interfaces
• Support both cloud-based systems and client-hosted server infrastructure
• Assist with software updates, data security, and system transfers
• Support mobile deployments including smartphones, tablets, and in-vehicle devices
• Gain exposure to consulting, project management, programming, installation, and maintenance workflows

What We're Looking For

• Completed secondary school education (Schulabschluss) with strong grades in mathematics and/or computer science
• Initial experience or coursework in IT, networking, or operating systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies is a plus
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for customer support
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn across multiple technical domains
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• German language proficiency required for this role
