Intern Data Governance, Strategy & Analytics (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital consultancy that specializes in data-driven transformation. Our client is seeking an Intern to support their Data Governance, Strategy & Analytics practice in München. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of business strategy and data management while working on real client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support client projects focused on strengthening data governance, data strategy, and analytics capabilities
• Analyze and document data processes, standards, roles, responsibilities, and business requirements at the business-IT interface
• Contribute to the development of data governance frameworks, operating models, data-quality initiatives, and transformation roadmaps
• Help translate business priorities into actionable data use cases, reporting concepts, and decision-support solutions
• Create and develop reports and dashboards, particularly in Power BI, and support KPI definition
• Research developments in data management, business intelligence, analytics, and AI, delivering concise practical insights
• Collaborate with consultants, data specialists, engineers, and client stakeholders to develop reusable templates and analyses

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong interest in data management, business processes, analytics, and digital transformation
• Initial practical experience in data analysis, visualization, reporting, or dashboarding
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, data modeling, or data integration concepts is ideal
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with high quality standards
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Good time-management skills with ability to deliver high-quality results within deadlines
• Fluent in German with good English skills
