Werkstudent*in Finance (Schwerpunkt Accounting/Controlling)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential client in München seeking a working student to support their Finance team with a focus on Accounting and Controlling. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic finance environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting analyses, reporting, and forecasting processes to prepare data-driven decisions, including the practical use of modern AI tools
• Contributing to monthly reporting and financial analyses in preparation for management meetings
• Creating outgoing invoices and customer invoices, processing invoice inquiries and changes as part of receivables management
• Assisting with the recording and booking of incoming invoices, travel expenses, and credit card statements
• Gaining insights into accounts receivable and accounts payable, potentially contributing to payment runs and month-end/year-end closings
• Bringing your own ideas to optimize processes and further develop billing-relevant workflows

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university with at least 3 semesters remaining, ideally studying Business Administration or a comparable field
• Availability to work 16-20 hours per week
• Strong numerical skills with careful attention to detail, able to maintain overview even with complex tasks
• Interest in analytical work and business management contexts, along with enthusiasm for working with numbers
• Quick comprehension and meticulous work approach
• Strong communication skills, engaged, and able to work independently
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken
