About This Opportunity
We are representing a leading SAP consulting firm in the DACH region that specializes in serving global manufacturing, automotive, life science, and high-tech clients. Our client works with world-class industrial organizations on digital end-to-end business process solutions. They are seeking an experienced SAP Sales Manager to join their Sustainable Supply Chain & Manufacturing practice in Heidelberg.
This is a strategic sales role focused on building and expanding client relationships within the supply chain management space. You will own the entire sales cycle while working closely with consulting delivery teams to ensure client success.
Responsibilities
- Systematically manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise clients
- Actively pursue and acquire new customer accounts in the industrial sector
- Develop and clarify requirements in close coordination with prospects and clients
- Define, organize, and coordinate sales campaigns for SAP supply chain solutions
- Own the complete sales process from prospecting through proposal development to contract negotiation
- Represent customer needs and requirements to internal consulting teams
- Serve as primary point of contact for ongoing projects and programs
- Coordinate between client stakeholders and delivery teams throughout engagement lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Multiple years of sales experience in the SAP ecosystem, specifically in Supply Chain Management consulting
- Deep familiarity with the SAP SCM solution portfolio (EWM, TM, IBP, DM, and related modules)
- Proven track record in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to shape strategy, lead initiatives, and execute tactically
- Strong analytical skills and ability to quickly understand complex business scenarios
- Solid knowledge of SAP software capabilities and implementation use cases
- Goal-oriented work style with independence, flexibility, and resilience
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal)
- Confident and persuasive presence with C-level executives and technical stakeholders
