We are representing a confidential cleantech organization in their search for a Venture Development Analyst to join their team in Berlin. Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, competitors, and new business opportunities within the energy sector
• Support the development and implementation of business development and growth strategies
• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and market opportunities
• Prepare analyses, business cases, and decision-making materials for leadership
• Support go-to-market and market-entry projects across new regions or verticals
• Analyze and optimize sales, CRM, and pipeline processes
• Independently manage strategic and operational projects from inception to completion
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive venture development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a comparable quantitative field
• Education from a reputable university or business school, ideally a leading institution in Germany or Europe
• Prior practical experience in business development, strategy, growth, consulting, startups, scale-ups, tech companies, or venture capital is advantageous
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking with a structured approach to work
• Genuine interest in business models, markets, and growth dynamics
• High degree of initiative, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for taking on responsibility
• Excellent German and English language skills
