Business Development Analyst (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cleantech organization in Berlin that is driving the renewable energy transition at scale. Our client operates at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and distributed energy systems. We're currently seeking a Business Development Analyst to join their strategic growth team and help shape market expansion initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects analyzing markets, evaluating partnerships, and supporting go-to-market strategies in a fast-growing environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute directly to business cases that influence company direction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, competitor, and opportunity analysis to identify new business possibilities
• Support the development and execution of business development and growth strategies
• Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and market opportunities
• Prepare analyses, business cases, and decision-making materials for leadership
• Contribute to go-to-market and market-entry projects
• Analyze and optimize sales, CRM, and pipeline processes
• Independently manage strategic and operational projects from inception to completion
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive initiatives forward

What We're Looking For

• Degree in business, economics, engineering, or a quantitative field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable)
• Education from a recognized university or business school, ideally a leading institution in Germany or Europe
• Previous practical experience in business development, strategy, growth, consulting, startups, scale-ups, tech companies, or venture capital is advantageous
• Strong analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset with structured working methods
• Genuine interest in business models, markets, and growth dynamics
• High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for taking on responsibility
• Excellent German and English language skills
