About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology infrastructure client in Berlin seeking a Strategic Finance professional. This is a generalist finance role working directly with senior leadership across capital management, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and strategic initiatives. You'll be involved in high-impact decisions from day one—not observing from the sidelines, but actively participating in board preparation, investor engagement, and company-defining choices.

This position is ideal for someone transitioning from investment banking, private equity, or venture capital who wants to shift from advisory work to building and scaling operations firsthand.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end fundraising activities including data room preparation, investor materials, financial modeling, and due diligence coordination
• Own recurring financial planning and analysis: monthly reporting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting
• Build and maintain financial models for unit economics, scenario planning, and strategic decisions such as build-versus-lease analysis, pricing strategy, and capacity planning
• Prepare investor updates, board presentations, and KPI dashboards
• Manage ad-hoc finance and strategy projects including grant applications, partnership economics evaluation, and contract analysis
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and legal advisors on compliance, tax matters, and corporate governance

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or a high-growth startup finance function
• Excellent financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable narratives
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where you often define problems before solving them
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is a strong advantage
• Genuine interest in technology infrastructure, cloud computing, or AI markets
