About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization that serves industrial clients across manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, and related sectors. They are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager with deep expertise in website management, SEO, and digital visibility strategy. This is a permanent position based in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Deutschland.

As their digital marketing partner, you will own the corporate website as the central platform for positioning, visibility, and lead generation. Your focus will be building a modern, high-performing, search-optimized digital presence that positions the brand clearly in the market and ensures sustainable visibility across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate the corporate website as the central platform for brand image and lead generation, including structure, UX, content, and conversion optimization
• Lead and execute the SEO strategy across technical, structural, and content dimensions to drive sustainable visibility improvements
• Optimize digital discoverability across modern search systems, including AI-driven search and emerging information channels
• Design and implement website and content structures aligned with the customer journey from awareness through conversion
• Collaborate closely with content, campaign, and business teams to develop search-relevant, audience-focused content
• Analyze and continuously optimize website performance metrics including traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversion
• Manage external agencies and service providers for development, SEO, and content initiatives
• Report to the Head of Digital Marketing

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in digital B2B marketing with a focus on website management and SEO, ideally within consulting, technology, or professional services environments
• Deep understanding of content structures, digital customer journeys, and search engine logic
• Strong sense for digital brand management, content strategy, and user experience
• Hands-on experience with common CMS, SEO, and analytics tools
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and act on data-driven optimization opportunities
• Team player with humor, passion, strong communication skills, and a results-oriented, self-directed work style
• Excellent English language skills; international experience is a plus
• German language proficiency required for this role
