Senior Area Sales Manager (Hamburg Ost) | Food Startup (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential food startup in their search for a Senior Area Sales Manager to cover the Hamburg Ost territory. In this role, you will own your sales region and drive growth across grocery retail channels.

• Manage your dedicated sales territory and ensure optimal product placement in food retail outlets
• Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities in the grocery sector
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with retail buyers and store managers
• Ensure products are displayed prominently and attractively on shelves
• Drive continuous revenue growth within your assigned region
• Execute field visits to retail locations throughout Hamburg Ost

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a sales professional with strong ties to the food retail industry and a proven track record of building customer relationships.

• Solid sales experience, ideally within the food or beverage sector; career changers from grocery retail are welcome
• Knowledge of food retail operations and the German LEH (Lebensmitteleinzelhandel) landscape
• Outgoing personality with confidence in approaching new contacts
• Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
• Fluent German language skills (required for customer-facing role)
• Valid driver's license for territory coverage
