Working Student – Invoice Checking (d/f/m)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential logistics technology client in Hamburg. They are seeking a Working Student to join their invoice checking operations and support critical billing processes within an international team environment.

This position offers hands-on experience in accounts payable operations, carrier invoice reconciliation, and ERP system implementation. You'll work alongside colleagues across multiple European locations, contributing to streamlined financial operations in a collaborative, feedback-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify carrier invoices across multiple brands and countries
• Process invoice claims and resolve billing discrepancies with carriers
• Validate carrier rate accuracy and ensure proper reflection in invoice documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information required for invoice verification
• Support posting of carrier invoices as part of the invoice checking workflow
• Test process improvements and enhancements before deployment
• Assist with the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled university student seeking practical experience in accounting or finance operations
• Strong numerical aptitude with careful attention to detail and accuracy
• Structured, efficient, and independent work style
• Team-oriented mindset with curiosity and openness to learning
• Good to very good proficiency in both German and English for international team communication
• Knowledge of transport and logistics sector is advantageous but not required
• Available to start at the earliest possible date
