Content Marketing Manager (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS organization specializing in operations management software for frontline teams. Our client supports mid-market and enterprise companies across retail, hospitality, logistics, and manufacturing sectors throughout Europe and beyond.

This is a research-intensive content marketing role for someone who builds expertise quickly and produces publication-quality material. You'll own topic areas from HACCP compliance to fleet safety, develop original benchmark reports that become industry references, and create content where deep product knowledge meets real operational challenges.

Responsibilities

Your work centers on four core areas:

• Topic ownership: Become the internal expert on assigned verticals within weeks by studying primary sources, attending customer demos, and consulting with sales and customer success teams
• Original research: Design, execute, and publish benchmark reports that establish category standards—work that gets cited by journalists and industry bodies
• Content production: Write use-case pages, competitor comparisons, customer stories from interviews, listicles, and marketing materials that demonstrate exactly how the product solves specific problems
• Publishing and optimization: Manage content in WordPress, apply SEO and answer engine optimization (AEO) fundamentals, refresh existing pages, and turn real customer objections into on-page FAQs

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years in content marketing with substantial B2B SaaS experience
• University degree from a top-tier institution
• Native-level English writing at publication standard
• Proven track record conducting independent research—finding data, evaluating sources, building original insights (bring examples)
• Ability to develop expertise rapidly in unfamiliar, regulated topics
• Technical curiosity to understand how products work and which problems they genuinely solve
• Skilled use of AI for research and drafting, with strong editorial judgment to revise and add perspective the model cannot provide
• Clear, creative, approachable writing style with no filler or generic content
• Proactive mindset—you propose topics and reports rather than waiting for assignments
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

Strongly preferred:

• Experience creating benchmark reports, surveys, or similar research content
• WordPress proficiency
• Foundational SEO knowledge (keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking)
• Familiarity with answer engine optimization (AEO) concepts
• Background writing about regulated or technical subjects such as food safety, quality management, EHS, or logistics
