Medical Equipment and Device Service Technician/Engineer (m/f/x) – Berlin, Germany

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical equipment manufacturer seeking a Medical Equipment and Device Service Technician/Engineer to join their Berlin-based team. Our client is an established player in the medical and dental imaging sector, serving the European market through a B2B distribution model across more than 20 countries.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional who wants to work hands-on with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment while traveling across Europe to support distributors and end customers. You'll play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction through installation, maintenance, repair, and training activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to distributors throughout Europe, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and general assistance for medical imaging equipment (C-arms, mammography systems) and dental systems (OPG, CBCT, portable units)
• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, repairs, and technical inspections at customer locations
• Deliver training to customers and distribution partners on proper equipment use, handling, and maintenance
• Travel regularly within Europe and internationally for service-related activities including installations, repairs, and inspections
• Manage logistics operations including goods receipt, safe storage, preparation and shipment of devices and spare parts, and coordination with transport providers
• Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure availability for service operations and customer requirements
• Prepare sales and shipping documentation such as Proforma Invoices and Commercial Invoices
• Handle administrative tasks related to service operations, logistics, and inventory management
• Inspect, configure, and adapt equipment for shipment according to customer specifications
• Support installation and deinstallation of equipment at exhibitions and trade fairs

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
• Professional experience is not required but will be considered an advantage
• Experience in customer service or technical support for medical equipment is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Well-organized with a structured, solution-oriented mindset and attention to detail
• Fluent English required; German and/or Korean language skills are a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a regular basis with no travel restrictions
• Valid work permit for Germany required
