About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential defense technology organization in Berlin that is building advanced autonomous systems. Our client is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join their product design team and create mission-critical interfaces for complex, interconnected platforms.

This is an opportunity to design human-centered interfaces for sophisticated autonomous systems—work where clarity, speed, and reliability are paramount. You'll be transforming technical complexity into intuitive experiences that professionals depend on in high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, clean UX/UI solutions using wireframes, high-fidelity concepts, and interactive prototypes
• Translate complex, abstract technical requirements into innovative and actionable design solutions
• Simplify sophisticated multi-system platforms used in demanding real-world scenarios
• Own your design decisions and maintain momentum in a fast-paced, agile development environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts and build consensus among diverse stakeholders on critical design choices

What We're Looking For

• Strong UX/UI design capabilities across the full design process, from research through delivery
• Experience with systems-level design thinking or cross-platform design (mobile, desktop, wearables)
• AI-native approach—you actively use AI tools to accelerate design and prototyping workflows
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively
• Comfortable presenting design work with clarity, openness, and professionalism
• Portfolio demonstrating your design thinking and execution across complex projects
• Fluent English and C1-level German required; additional languages a plus
