About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential climate-tech organization in Berlin that is scaling rapidly in the renewable energy sector. They are seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to join their technical project management team on-site in Kreuzberg.
This is a flexible 20-hour-per-week role where you will take ownership of operational processes that directly enable the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure across Germany. You'll work at the intersection of technical coordination, process optimization, and product development.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end operational processes from initial registration through final approval, including technical coordination when issues arise
- Drive expansion into new service areas by mapping regulatory requirements, implementing them in technical systems, and bringing them live
- Identify process bottlenecks and edge cases, then work directly with the engineering team to build solutions
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth process flow and continuous improvement
- Scale operations to accommodate growing customer demand while maintaining quality standards
- Contribute to product development based on operational insights and customer needs
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an engineering program: Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar disciplines
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical topics and regulatory frameworks
- Self-starter who drives initiatives forward independently rather than waiting for instructions
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to catch errors others miss
- Based in Berlin and available to work 20 hours per week on-site in the office
- Fluent in German (working language)
- No prior knowledge of the specific domain required - you'll learn it within two weeks
