Travel Nurse RN – PreOp / PACU – Post Anesthesia Care – $2,475 per week

Prolink Region 2 is hiring a Travel Nurse RN to join our team for a full-time surgical support assignment in Hyde Park, Hamilton County, Ohio. This 13-week travel nursing role focuses on PreOp and Post Anesthesia Care (PACU) nursing, offering competitive pay of $2,475 per week.

About the Role

As a travel nurse specializing in perioperative care, you'll provide essential clinical support in fast-paced surgical environments. This position combines PreOp assessment and preparation with PACU recovery monitoring, requiring strong clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic healthcare team.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative patient assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures
• Monitor and manage vital signs throughout the perioperative period
• Administer medications and support anesthesia providers during induction and recovery
• Manage airway support and breathing interventions for post-operative patients
• Assess and address post-operative pain, nausea, and other recovery complications
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care and expected recovery outcomes
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and ensure compliance with facility protocols
• Coordinate care with surgical teams, anesthesiology, and post-operative units

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of professional nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in PreOp or PACU settings
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks, full-time employment
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8-hour rotating shifts
